Islamic Relief UK named Charity of the Year at the Charity Times Awards!

Islamic Relief UK was delighted to be awarded Charity of the Year at the Charity Times Awards 2023 in Central London. Alhamdulilah!

The UK Charity Awards are annual awards for outstanding achievements within the UK not-for-profit sector. Categories reflect the management of charities and not-for-profits, and awards are made to individuals, departments and whole organisations.

The judges lasting demonstrated an impressive fundraising effort and an excellent ability to create lasting change for its beneficiaries. The award recognised Islamic Relief’s international work over the course of the last year, and in particular the efforts in responding to the Pakistan floods and the Turkiye-Syria earthquake.

As well as the international work, the award recognised the domestic programmes focus, looking at UK poverty for people affected by the cost of living crisis.
