More about our work

Our range of projects and advocacy campaigns strive to financially and socially empower communities in need. Our work on gender justice in particular aims to challenge harmful socio-cultural norms which restrict women’s emotional, physical, spiritual, financial and sexual wellbeing.

Recognising the increasing impact of climate change on vulnerable communities across the globe, we’re also lobbying the government and challenging behaviours at grassroots levels to ensure that climate change remains on the agenda and that communities across the globe remain safe and resilient from climate change-induced disaster.

Women in Philanthropy

Islamic Relief want to bring to light the impact women are having in philanthropy. We are creating a fun, engaging and educational space for women in philanthropy to share and build upon their experiences and become role models for future generations in the Muslim sector. By bringing together like-minded women with a common goal and unique insights and experiences to build upon, we hope to achieve something amazing together. Islamic Relief is building a sustainable fund with the goal of improving the lives of women around the world through some of our amazing programmes, empowering women with the tools they need to break the poverty cycle.
