Women in Philanthropy

We are creating a fun, engaging and educational space for women in philanthropy to share and build upon their experiences and become role models for future generations in the Muslim sector.

Why is Islamic Relief Launching Women in Philanthropy?

An astonishing 67% of charity giving in the UK is from women. We think that’s incredible, and at Islamic Relief, we want to bring to light the impact that women are having in philanthropy. We are creati ng a fun, engaging and educati onal space for women in philanthropy to share and build upon their experiences and become role models for future generati ons in the Muslim sector. By bringing together like-minded women with a common goal and unique insights and experiences to build upon, we hope to achieve something amazing together. Islamic Relief is building a sustainable fund with the goal of improving the lives of women around the world through some of our amazing programmes, empowering women with the tools they need to break the poverty cycle.
